Ridgeline courtyard
Bluestone patio, fire table, screening hedge
Design, build and maintain — one crew, one point of contact, from the first drawing to the first season of upkeep. Everything below is our own work, drawn from the measured plans we leave with every client.
Filter by the kind of work you are considering. Scope and build time are listed on every tile because those are the two things a quote never tells you.
Bluestone patio, fire table, screening hedge
Segmental retaining wall, 42 in, with drainage chase
Hosta, hakone grass and oakleaf hydrangea under maple
Path lights, two tree uplights, low-voltage transformer
Core aeration, tall fescue overseed, stripe mowing
Rough-sawn cedar pergola over a paver terrace
Herringbone drive, 8 in base, permeable edge drain
Echinacea, little bluestem, mountain mint, no-spray
Weekly service, bed care, seasonal pruning calendar
Everything in spring is timed off soil temperature, not the calendar. Miss the window and you spend the rest of the year correcting it.
Crabgrass germinates and you are on post-emergent chemistry all summer. Matted leaf litter left over winter invites snow mould and crown rot in the turf underneath.
Prices below are for a 10,000 sq ft lot with average bed area. No contract length, no cancellation fee — plans stop at the end of the month you call.
Scroll the table sideways to compare all three plans.
A working figure, not a quote. Slope, gate width and tree density move it, which is exactly what the photographs are for.
Four photographs turn the first site visit into a closing visit instead of a measuring one. We can see whether a 36 inch mower fits the side gate, how much of the lawn is under a canopy, whether the beds have real edges or just a mulch line, and whether that slope needs a walk-behind rather than a rider.
It also means the number we bring is the number you pay. Nobody enjoys a revised price on the day the crew turns up.
We stay tight on purpose. Every property below sits on a route the same crew runs all season, which is how a maintenance visit lands on the same day each week rather than whenever a schedule allows.
Just outside the list? Call anyway. If your street is on the way to a route we already run, it costs you nothing extra — and if it is not, we will say so rather than take the booking and cancel in April.
They drew the whole back garden before a single stone moved, then built it exactly as drawn. The wall has been through two wet winters and has not shifted a millimetre.
What sold me was the plan sheet. Every plant named, every visit listed, nothing described as general tidy-up. Three seasons in and I have never had to ask what I paid for.
The lighting changed the house more than the patio did. They came back after dark to aim every fixture, which nobody else even offered to do.
If yours is not here, ask it on the call. We would rather lose ten minutes than have you find out something in June that we could have told you in March.
Both, and they are priced separately so you can take the design and have anyone build it if you prefer. The plan sheet is measured, scaled and yours to keep either way.
Mowing, edging, bed weeding and blowing every visit, with pruning and fertilization on a seasonal schedule. It is listed line by line on the plan, not left vague.
Maintenance starts within a week or two. Design-build runs three to six weeks in spring and considerably less in autumn, which is the better planting window anyway.
System install, seasonal start-up and winterization, plus smart controllers that read local rainfall and typically cut a summer water bill by a fifth to a third.
Spring cutback and fresh mulch, rotating leaf passes through autumn, and storm debris clearing whenever it happens. Cleanups are quoted by property, not by truckload.
Trees, shrubs and perennials we supply and plant carry a one-year replacement warranty, provided the watering schedule we leave you was followed. Annuals and transplants of your own existing plants are excluded.
We push to the next dry day on the same route rather than skipping the week, because mowing a saturated lawn does more damage than a two-day delay. You get a text the morning a route moves.
