⬩ Cookies
This site sets no cookies.
Not a reduced number of cookies, or only the necessary ones. None. That is why you were not met with a consent banner when you arrived.

What that means
No cookie is written to your browser by this website — no analytics cookie, no preference cookie, no session cookie. Nothing is stored in local storage either. Close the tab and this site has left nothing behind on your machine.
Why there is no banner
UK law on cookies — the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations — requires consent before storing anything on your device that is not strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for. Because we store nothing at all, there is nothing to consent to, and a banner would be theatre.
No third-party requests either
Consent is not the only issue with trackers: loading a resource from another company discloses your visit to that company whether or not a cookie is involved. So this site loads no third-party scripts, no embedded video, no maps, no social widgets and no hosted fonts. Typefaces are served from this domain.
Server logs
Our host keeps ordinary server logs for security and reliability. Those are not cookies, they are not readable by other sites, and they are covered in the privacy notice.
If this changes
If we ever add something that needs a cookie, we will ask first and this page will say so before it goes live.
